Through all the gifts and talents God has gifted him though, Emory simply wants to come serve the students of KC, alongside other youth pastors like himself
Emory has been married to his wife Jessica for 7 years.
Cody Laymon is the youth pastor of City Center Church in Lenexa, KS. His energetic ministry style creates a relevant environment for students to easily grasp the truth of God’s word. Cody, an evangelist at heart, leads 180 Ministries and its youth to pursue the lost and invite them in. His ministry has been a loud voice in the Kansas City school districts and he is actively involved in finding new ways to reach those in those schools that are hurting and need Jesus.
Cody has been married to the love of his life, Michele, since 2007. Together, they have way too much fun with their two boys Noah and Judah, their daughter, Eden, and their big chocolate lab, Scooter.
Nick Adams is the student ministries pastor at Cross Points Church in Shawnee, KS. He has spent a decade serving the local church as a youth pastor in KC, alongside his wife Desirae, 2 Boys (Colton and Reece), and 1 Girl (Hadley). Nick is a passionate speaker and has a heart to see a younger generation reach their potential and not sell themselves short by bending to the culture around them.
Growing up around the jock-culture and playing Division 1 baseball, he felt the pull from everyone around him to be something God never created him to be. As he saw failure and success in his own experience, he hopes to help build a strategy in the youth culture of today not based on our own muscle, but by the power of Christ.
